I have just finished up a brand new jQuery plugin, called jquery.matrix.js. This is a jQuery plugin that is written specifically for MySource Matrix, and allows you to very easily add functionality for deleting, cloning, changing status, editing, and quick editing in simple edit. MySource Matrix CAPTCHA Enhancements

Recently I finished up development on a new feature for MySource Matrix. It is a brand new form CAPTCHA for Custom Forms and Asset Builders that allows you to use True Type Fonts, colors, set the positioning of the characters, angles and arcs. Previously the MySource Matrix CAPTCHA was not that great, it was using standard GD fonts which was very hard to read, and it was black and white. Also, there were not very many options when it came to controlling how the CAPTCHA looked. So, this new development, which will be in MySource Matrix 3.20.3 will now give you the power to control your CAPTCHA and give it fonts and colors that will match your site.

MySource Matrix MP3 File Asset

I have been working on a new Custom Asset for MySource Matrix. It is an MP3 File asset which can be used to upload .mp3 files and have their ID3 data extracted into Matrix. This is very handy as you will be able to bulk upload a bunch of files and each one will get its data extracted. You also have the ability to dynamically list out ID3 tag fields when using asset listings!
Future features will be the ability to write back to the .mp3 file as well as my most proud feature, album artwork will be extracted and can be printed along with the .mp3. Look for these new features in an upcoming MySource Matrix 3.20 version.
